One day my parents sat me down and asked me if I wanted to play the piano. I thought about it a

mom signed me up for piano lessons.
Amanda's love of music began early in life; singing, dancing, playing instruments and marching
through the house. At 18 months old, she was enrolled in Toddler Tunes at Harmony Road and has
continued through each step of the program, and is currently finishing Piano 10.
I cannot believe it has been ten years since I entered Harmony Road Music Center. I first began

experience playing piano have allowed me to flourish from a shy, little girl into a confident,
I've been playing piano at Harmony Road Music since I was four years old
with Sarah as my teacher since I was six.
I started taking classes at Harmony Road after I moved to Oregon when I was nine. Since then, I
have had a wonderful nine years of musical education. I have played many great songs, and met
some good friends. I think having me take music lessons was one of the best decisions my parents
made for me. I will miss my time at Harmony Road.
Next year I will be attending Clackamas Community College to study computer science. I will
continue to play piano on my own. I think the dedication I have learned from being a musician
will help me get far in life.
I first began piano lessons when I was five years old, with Ms. Andrea,
and have continued until graduation—13 years later!
